About Carrie-Ann Williams
Carrie Ann is a singing, piano and Music theory teacher based in Chester.
Carrie-Ann has many qualifications in Singing which include of vocal and operatic studies where she was offered an entrance scholarship, at the Birmingham Conservatoire with a First Class Honours. At The Royal Academy of Music she was awarded a distinction in both her Masters in Vocal studies and her Advance Diploma in Opera studies.
Carrie-Ann has been singing for over 20 years, and obtained her grade 8 singing (ABRSM) and grade 5 theory (ABRSM) at the age of 15. She has had many experiences on stage both in musicals, performing main roles in various musical society's from the age of 9 . During her studies, she has been fortunate to perform main roles in the Conservatoires yearly Operas.
Carrie-Ann has also performed in a professional pantomime production at the Regent Theatre in Stoke-On-Trent with "First Family Entertainment", playing the role of the Fairy Godmother in "Cinderella". Starring Christian Patterson, Jonathan Wilkes and Kai Owen from "Doctor Who" spin-off "Torchwood".
Carrie-Ann has also performed opera for many professional companies, including Grange Park Opera, Glyndebourne and also abroad with the Salzburg Music Festival, Paris Opera and a tour around China.
She has entered exams and many competitions, including winning the Mario Lanza Operatic Prize, which one of its previous winners was Rhydian Roberts of X factor.
Carrie-Ann is looking to take any kind of students, whether your a student who wants to improve on your singing, or are thinking about pursuing singing as a career, or a student who just wants to have fun and learn how to sing.
Carrie-Ann also offers Music tuition and Music Theory Lessons, to help students with GCSE's and A-Levels, as well as helping students obtain their grade 5 theory to be able to advance to take higher grades in their chosen instrument.
She teaches any age, any level from beginner to advanced And any genre. Whether its popular singing, musical theatre or classical, and will help to improve your musical ability to perform in this area. Lessons will include vocal warm-ups, performance coaching, language coaching and help with auditions, exams or any performances you have in the near future.
