About Carmen
Spanish trumpet player based in London with a degree in Classical and Contemporary Music Performance in ESMUC (the Conservatory of Barcelona) and a Master’s degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in Jazz Trumpet. I am passionate about all kinds of music, with a special preference for modern and contemporary styles. Whatever your favorite musical genre may be, I will be happy to help you learn to play it!
Experience:
I have taught music classes in schools to children aged 7 to 9, as well as private trumpet lessons to adults between the ages of 20 and 40. I can teach complete beginners—covering the basics of how the trumpet works and how to make it sound—but I have also taught students preparing to pursue a performance degree.
I am able to teach in both English and Spanish. I always strive to adapt my teaching as much as possible to each student and their individual interests.
