About Cameron
*ONLINE & IN MANCHESTER* Cameron is an experienced classical guitarist and pianist, with a strong knowledge of music theory, and is currently in his final year studying music at the University of Manchester. Cameron's biggest passion has always been creating and sharing music, and he knows teaching is one of the most fun and rewarding ways to do so. Lessons with Cameron can be for classical or electric guitar, piano and, music theory and are largely up to each student's musical goals. These goals could be exam-focused or just looking to improve students' playing, confidence, and knowledge.
Cameron is a classically trained musician and has the most knowledge of that genre of music but also engages with other styles, most recently joining a new jazz-rock fusion band, therefore he is very comfortable teaching other styles too. To get the most out of Cameron's teaching, it's recommended to take at least 30-minute lessons each week and to put in as much practice as you enjoy and have time for in between.
The first lesson with Cameron typically starts with an informal chat to discuss each student's musical interests, goals, and experience, then from there can begin to teach straight away! It is recommended to have the first lesson in person, especially as a beginner where you can use Cameron's instruments to try out at first before committing to buying your own. Otherwise, online teaching works great too!
