About Callum Anderson

Hello! I am a pianist, harpsichordist and organist based in West London.

I am offering classical music lessons in piano, organ, harpsichord, composition/music theory to both adults and children from beginner to grade 8 level. I have 7 years of teaching experience both privately and in schools, and have helped many pupils achieve thier ABRSM and Trinity exams. I am very happy teaching those who wish to learn music purely for their own enjoyment as well as those working towards thier graded exams.

Piano lessons:
I tend to teach lessons at pupils’ homes, but I am also able to offer lessons at St. Mary’s Church Putney.

Organ lessons:
These would be at St. Mary’s Church in Putney, but I am also open to teaching at other venues/churches that are willing to allow teaching to take place, so that pupils have the opportunity to try different organs!

Harpsichord lessons:
These would take place at my flat in Acton, but also happy to travel to pupil’s homes if they have thier own instrument.

Music Theory/Composition:
These can either be taught in person/at home or online.

I studied a Bachelor Degree in Music at the Univeristy of Bristol and a Masters Degree in Historically Informed Performance at the Royal Academy of Music. I also have the Royal Academy’s LRAM teaching diploma for piano. Alongside teaching, I enjoy a freelance career as professional musician, performing in a wide range of venues across the UK and Europe. I am also currently the organist and Assistant Director or Music and St. Mary’s Church, Putney.
