Benjamin is a professional drummer and music educator based in North-East London with over 15 years of experience performing across a wide range of contemporary styles, including jazz-adjacent music, alternative projects, and soul and R&B- influenced artists.

He has worked with artists such as Oscar Jerome, Berwyn and Elmiene, each representing very different musical worlds. These collaborations have played a key role in developing his versatility, musical sensitivity and stylistic awareness as both a performer and teacher. Ben also draws influence from electronic styles such as jungle, hip hop and garage, approaching drumming from a producer’s perspective and encouraging students to think about groove, sound and texture as creative tools.

Ben has performed on major stages including BST Hyde Park, as well as at renowned London venues such as Ronnie Scotts, Jazz Cafe, 100 Club and Scala. Alongside touring and session work, Benjamin enjoys teaching students of all levels, with a focus on developing strong time, feel, sound and musical understanding, while helping each student grow in confidence and develop their own voice on the instrument.
