Atzi is an absolutely outstanding teacher. I am an adult learner who has had two months of lessons with Atzi, and he has accelerated my progress with his patient, creative teaching style rooted in musicality. I have had other teachers in the past, and I feel that Atzi is the most observant - he is always clear-eyed and lucid, paying attention and noticing every detail of my beginner’s playing. Atzi is excellent at developing unique exercises to teach proper form and guiding me into developing my own intuition. He has also done a fantastic job helping me train my ear and truly enjoy my cello practice. Atzi has been great at anchoring all our lessons in my long-term goals and personal interests, in order to maintain motivation. I cannot recommend him more highly!
