About Anna

Anna is an experienced professional musician, performer and teacher. She is a conservatoire-trained saxophonist with a First class degree in classical saxophone performance. With over 15 years of saxophone training, 5 years of teaching experience and a 100% ABRSM pass rate, Anna is an exceptional teacher.

Anna's lessons encompass a full music education, in any style, with a very varied, individual plan and trajectory for every pupil. Having taught all ages and all abilities, Anna's lessons are moulded to fit each pupil, whether that is traditional ABRSM grades, GCSE, A-Level or undergraduate degree level tuition, to master a specific style or musical aim, or for simply playing for fun! Anna also has lots of experience teaching pupils with SEND and additional needs and is fully Makaton trained.

Anna regularly performs saxophone, whether that is solo concerts, with her saxophone quartet or with various ensembles around the UK and Europe.
During her time studying, Anna won the RBC Saxophone Prize, the Andrew Downes Performance Prize and the Sylvia Cleaver Prize.

In addition, Anna received A*/A at GCSE and A-Level music and is also trained in music theory to Grade 5 and piano.
