About Andrew MC.
I'm Andrew Mcintosh, a professional Drummer in the Birmingham, West Bromwich Area. I also play at a local Church. I also play Bass Guitar.
In my lessons I believe it's important to teach techniques and to always be yourself because it will make a difference in your playing. It will also help you develop your improvisation skills which will make drumming a lot more fun.
I teach Beginner to advanced young drummers from age 7 and up. I also teach all styles of music including Pop, Rock, Jazz, Rn'B, Funk, Soul, Gospel, Hip-Hop.
In my first lesson, I will always start to get to know a bit about what got you into drumming, do you have any favourite pieces and what's your favourite genre etc. This gives me some background info on you which will help me to teach what you need to know and we can start with the basics before including it in the drumming.
Students will only need a Drum Kit or Practice Pad or anything else that they can practice drums on. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
