About Andrew
With over 20 years of experience in public/private schools and colleges, Andrew has a wealth of experience and techniques to get great progress and enjoyment out of music from all students.
Andrews approach is detailed, creative and supportive focusing on building confidence in your playing and technical development, he also includes creative exercises to help enhance aural skills through improvisation.
Andrew is highly motivating at all levels and builds a clear route to progress with all his pupils of all ages but in particular with adults, having worked with many ensembles for life long learning Andrew specializes in working with adult beginners through to advanced.
He has worked professionally for the last 15 years including 10 years as musical director for most of the major cruise lines. When not teaching Andrew can be found in a theatre pit, studio and on stage performing which keeps him on his musical game a journey he tries and encourages all of his pupils to take.
