Andrea Risueño is a professional Piano and Keyboardist. She has over 5 years of experience teaching students from all ages and skill levels. Andrea designs her lessons according to the students' genre preference as well as to their learning style. She always tries to motivate students and shares her passion for music with them. She has studied with renowned professors at Guildhall School of Music & Drama London obtaining an Artist's Master. In relation to her performance experience, she has performed as a soloist in different countries such as at Parliament of Brussels and the National Gallery in Bosnia. Andrea has also performed in different projects as a keyboard accompanist in London, including Opera Scenes and with the Guildhall Baroque Orchestra at the Milton Court Concert Hall. She currently works in WM College as a Sessional Piano and Keyboard Tutor for college students. She has experience preparing students for ABRSM and Trinity exams up to grade 8. Andrea designs different methods to cover the different components of ABRSM exams, incorporating Music Theory, Harmony as well as Sight-Reading exercises during her lessons. She has also worked as a Music Teaching Assistant helping students with their A-Level Music exams covering the composition and performance components. She has engaged as a leader of The Creative Orchestra project consisting in the composition of music using different instruments by students of Brampton Primary School. Andrea is a passionate and dynamic musician willing to contribute in sharing this sentiment with her students.
