About Ana V. M.
I think everybody can play the cello with good training and the right teacher. I am a great communicator and am responsible about my work. I will be encouraging my students with a healthy approach towards their instrument and mindset. I think I am a great music tutor for you because I will be always willing to help you to progress and keep your motivation high, whilst being empathetic and aware of your feelings, thoughts and needs.
I am enthusiastic about transmitting my approach of music. I find it so enjoyable! I think one of the best rewards is to see my students progress with the cello. I really love music and I want to transmit this feeling to you through my teaching, and I can help you no matter what your level is.
A quick overview about me: I have been learning music in general and cello in particular for 18 years. I have experience of playing many recitals and concerts with orchestras and chamber music ensembles around the world. I have been working closely with top level cello teachers and participating as a player and a listener in big masterclasses and festivals.
Since I started helping some of my friends to prepare for competitions, I discovered a love and talent for teaching within me! That is why, when I got to study at the Royal Academy of Music, I achieved my LRAM Teaching Diploma. I am experienced in teaching both beginner and advanced students, becoming a teacher member for the CFSE Junior Academy (Royal Academy of Music); member of THAMES council (primary schools) and in Colourstrings Music School in North London Conservatoire in September 2021.
