About Amy

I am a classically trained Mezzo-Soprano and vocal teacher, currently completing my Master’s degree in Vocal Performance at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where I also earned my Bachelor’s degree with Honours.
During my studies I have been fortunate to receive awards and scholarships in opera and song competitions, and to work with and be adjudicated by world-class musicians including Malcolm Martineau, faculty from Scottish Opera, and Sir Simon Rattle.
Alongside performing, I am deeply passionate about sharing my knowledge and helping singers of all ages and abilities develop their voices.

My approach:
My primary goal in teaching is to help you discover your own unique voice.
Every singer learns differently, so lessons are active, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs. Together we will build a strong, healthy technical foundation that allows your creativity and musical expression to flourish.
In lessons we will work on:
• Breath support and control
• Vowel alignment and clear diction
• Physical awareness and freedom in the body
• Musical interpretation and storytelling
• Healthy and effective practice techniques
• Repertoire across opera, art song, and musical theatre
The beauty of singing lies in expressing text clearly and honestly, and I will guide you toward discovering a sound that feels natural, free, and truly your own.
Everyone is welcome!
