About Alvin

Graduate of Prestigious Institutions in the USA and Belgium, Performances Across Three Continents.
Flexible and supportive teaching approach for all musical ambitions!

As a concert saxophonist with extensive international experience, I have performed, studied, and traveled across the globe. I hold advanced degrees from distinguished conservatories and universities in Belgium and the USA.

My performance career spans three continents, including a solo recital at the World Saxophone Congress in Spain (2023) and public workshops in Hong Kong, where I coached students preparing for competitions.

With over eight years of teaching experience, I have worked with students ranging from children to adult amateurs. Whether you are a dedicated student seeking rapid progress or learning for personal enjoyment, I tailor my teaching approach to your individual needs and goals.

Lessons are personalised to suit your objectives, whether it's preparation for graded exams, skill development, repertoire expansion, or simply learning the music you love. I believe that fostering genuine interest is key to making music both enjoyable and rewarding.

Having trained under the ABRSM system, I possess in-depth knowledge of the syllabus, and my studies in both Europe and America have enriched my expertise in various musical styles and techniques.
