Alistair is a gifted cellist and an excellent teacher who has taught my seven year old son quickly and patiently to take a keen interest in the instrument. I would highly recommend him as a music teacher.

As an adult student new to string instruments, Alistair's patience and experience allowed for a pressure free environment to begin this new adventure and his exceptional knowledge, both regarding the instrument and music in general, has guided me towards building good fundamentals and technique from day one. He is also very easy to get in contact with for any question I have during my own practice or regarding the lessons. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend Alistair for anyone seeking cello lessons across all levels of play and for students of all ages.

Alistair is enthusiastic, patient and is committed to providing top quality teaching. As an absolute beginner in learning the cello, I have learned a lot already from holding the bow correctly to producing the correct sounds. I am an older pupil so I greatly appreciate his patience and his professionalism.
