Alison is an experienced teacher and professional performer. Inspiring people of all ages and abilities. Previous students have successfully auditioned for NYO, music colleges, and professional orchestras.

An oboe professor at The Guildhall School in London, Alison revels in the success of a students progress and self development. As a performer, she is co-principal oboe with The BBC Symphony Orchestra, and is invited to give masterclasses globally internationally, and judge international competitions. Skilled in reed making, audition preparation, and Cor Anglais performance, Alison is available for one off advice lessons or regular classes.
