It's not possible to rate Alex highly enough. He is a profoundly talented jazz musician in his own right. And his professional pedagogy as an empathetic and creative teacher was shown through his willingness and skill in transposing ‘pop’ and ‘rock’ songs that my teenage son wanted to play and sing on the piano. His online lockdown lessons were also excellent. It was great to see both my children develop their own relationship with Alex, and develop skills that were not parent driven.
