Hi I'm Alan, a graduate of Newcastle University with a degree in popular music and owner of Guitar Core where I have taught over 200 students Guitar and other instruments. I have taught children and adults to be able to play their favorite songs, pass exams and start their own bands!

Teaching is my absolute passion, my lessons are always fun, creative, relaxing and bespoke to suit your needs and your goals.

He encourages the boys by playing things that interest them in a fun way, whilst also ensuring they get a grounding in essential skills. The enthusiasm both boys have/had for lessons speaks volumes. His lessons are the highlight of Daniel's week. Alan is kind, encouraging and fun. And gets great results! My eldest is now studying music at university.
