About Aina

Isabel is a professional guitarist, composer and artist with over 10 years of experience teaching different ages and levels on the guitar. Specialising on modern styles such as Pop, Blues and RnB she has performed with several artists across many genres. She is a passionate and warm tutor that focuses on tailor making the lessons to suit your individual journey. She believes learning should be fun and rewarding.

Guitar Lessons
The material covered in lessons will focus on getting you comfortable with the techniques and chord shapes as well as the creative and improvisational aspect of playing the guitar. Here are some of the topics that would be covered:

Music Theory
Getting comfortable with the musical language can improve both your playing and composing. Here are some of the topics that would be covered:

Harmony
Intervals
Chord analysis
Rhythm & tempo

First Lesson
Your first lesson will include spending some time assessing your goals so that a plan that suits you built around your specific needs can be created. Realistic targets will be set based on the artists and styles you love to make it easier to work towards. The lessons usually cover a mix of technical exercises, theory and song work to help create a balanced foundation. Isabel believes learning should be fun and relaxed to help inspire you to pick up the guitar in between lessons. An important part of the lessons will be building confidence in your playing and finding your own sound.

Beginners
The beginners lessons are organised to be as practical as possible to get you playing from day one. By learning the basic skills you’ll be laying a solid foundation to build upon.

Intermediate Students
We would cover topics such as expanding your vocabulary, refining techniques and learning advanced harmony. A good way of developing your ability is exploring styles and genres out of your comfort zone to add richness and depth to your sound.

Composition/Production
