Aidan is a multi-instrumentalist and massive folk music nerd! He is a versatile musician with 5+ years of experience in multiple fields of the industry.
While specialising in fiddle and acoustic guitar rooted in Scottish, Irish, and Manx (Isle of Man) traditions, he is also a seasoned composer and session musician in other genres like pop, rock, metal, and funk.

With a strong passion for teaching, Aidan tailors each lesson to the individual and strongly believes that a patient and nurturing approach to teaching will provide the best results.
Aidan is well versed in (and very into) music theory, and will implement it into lessons in a fun and captivating way to further help your understanding of music and your instrument.

He has taught a wide age range of people with various ability levels. So whether you've never picked up an instrument before, you're a seasoned classical player looking to dip your toes into the world of folk, or you're just looking to expand your tune repertoire, you're very welcome here!

Aidan's goal with teaching is trying to find the students' own voice with the instrument, so that they are able to express themselves in their own individual way. As after all, that's what folk music is all about!
