About Adam
Learning drums should be rewarding, exciting, and motivating. Adam’s lessons go beyond technique - they’re about enjoying the journey, playing what you love, and building real confidence behind the kit.
Adam has been performing and teaching drums for 17+ years, with extensive experience as a session musician and live performer, in a range of settings such as venues big and small, cruise ships and festivals!
Lessons are for ages 6+, and based at Under the Bridge Studios next to Brighton station. They are designed to be fun, fulfilling, and challenging, supporting students as they progress on their musical journey.
As a beginner student, your first couple of lessons will focus on:
- Learning how to play a full beat involving four-limb coordination
- Playing along to fun, engaging songs through listening and reading music
- Understanding ergonomics, grip and the different parts of the drum kit
For more experienced players, lessons will be based around what areas of learning you want to focus on. No matter the aim or genre, Adam is experienced in helping students towards their goals through structured, supportive practice.
