We're looking for a full time, office-based temporary support co-ordinator, starting in June 2026.
MusicTeachers.co.uk connects students of any age and ability with professional, vetted
private teachers. We’re part of a European organisation, The MoreMusic Group,
headquartered in Denmark with a presence in a number of countries across the continent.
Our vision is for a fairer, safer, and more sustainable market for private music education.
We’re also good eggs, who help each other. In the UK team, we are proud to have brought
music education to the Sci-tech hub for Leeds, just next to the train station. We feel
connected in the work we do with colleagues both in the office and throughout Europe. We
work hard and laugh a lot. We can be ourselves and anyone can point out when something
needs fixing, or bring a new way of doing things. This is the second paragraph.
We are looking for someone to join the team in a full-time, office-based support role . You’ll
be working on all aspects of support for our community of teachers and students. We’re
looking for a person who shares our belief in the transformative power of music education
and who is a skilled, precise and confident communicator. It’s a good opportunity to use your
existing digital skills and learn some more, but ours is an operation built around people.
Caring and giving great service are more important than technical expertise.
What you’ll be doing:
● First line support - assisting teachers and students with general enquiries across email, live chat and proactive support tools like the help centre and Melody, our AI support assistant.
● Processing refunds and light financial duties.
● Using a range of digital tools
● Contributing to product teams; feeding in user trends to help us sharpen our offer to the community.
You’ll need:
● To be able to commit to the role starting in June for a minimum of 8 weeks, with the possibility of extending further.
● To be able to commute to our office in Leeds city centre.
● Knowledge of music and a passion for the benefits of music education
● A cool head
● A kind heart
● Curiosity and a willingness to learn
● Good judgment
You'll receive:
● Equivalent salary to £25,000-30,000 pro-rata, dependent on experience.
● Full-time fixed-term employment contract (initially 8 weeks, with possible extension)
● Access to networking opportunities in the tech sector
● Opportunities to develop skills across tech and communications
● Free tea and coffee
● Regular lunch based niceties
● Bike storage and shower facilities at the office
The most important thing is the second paragraph. Being comfortable in and contributing to
our culture. Being confident to speak up when something’s not clear. Giving a kind word to a colleague.
