About Poppy N.

Music and Performing Arts have played a pivotal role in my life since childhood and I have always had a passion for music. One of my vocal tutors described my voice as ‘distinctive with a rich Mediterranean tone’.

I teach Opera, Classical, Folk, Musical Theatre, Cabaret, Hits, Ballads and Disney. I specialise in ABRSM and LAMDA Singing Grades 1 - 8 and prepare students for Conservatoire / Music College auditions (I auditioned for 5 Conservatoires at the age of 17 and was accepted into 4 of them).

I was awarded a Bachelors Honours Performance Music Degree in Classical Voice of Upper Division.

I studied at Chethams School of Music, the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and the G.Verdi Conservatorio di Musica in Milan.

I have 15 years professional performance and teaching experience.

I have performed in venues such as - Coutts Bank for HRH Princess Anne at the Royal Yacht Association for Olympic Sailors, the Rochester Castle Concerts Festival for the Royal Engineers 300th Anniversary Proms Night, The Guards Museum for the Household Cavalry, The Sala Verdi Hall in Milan and St Mark's Basilica in Venice.

I teach privately from my home in Fordingbridge, Hampshire with students who come from Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset. I also teach online via Zoom as well to students from London and Gloucestershire.

I was a student at Stagecoach Performing Arts School for nearly 10 years in Salisbury, Wiltshire and I now teach Singing at Stagecoach in Ringwood, Hampshire and have also covered teaching at Totton, Wimborne and Salisbury as well.
